Growing up in the northern region of San Diego County, the beach served as both a playground and a wellspring of creativity. Engaging in surfing, embarking on explorations, sharing meals with friends, and nurturing our children. Fond recollections that have deeply influenced me.

But a backdrop to all of the surfing and spending time at the beach was the magnetic draw of the ocean's beauty. The sounds, textures, power, colors and dynamics are found nowhere else. Somehow this intersection of land, sky and water is able to find it's way deep into souls and change the courses of lives. 

The ocean's waves evoke memories of the past and stir yearnings for the profound depths of existence.
