So many layers. This image was captured after the sun rose on a fall morning. After getting slammed by a set of waves, Todd saw this wave coming through and couldn't resist shooting it, knowing he would take this wave on the head (he could have swam out, and not taken the shot, for a better chance at safety). There are many elements to this story: the offshore winds, the orange glow of the early morning sun, the bokeh balls, the perfectly breaking wave, the iconic tree across the channel and the Corona Del Mar hills. Each Westphoria piece is made to order and printed on 9.5 Mil, 250 gsm premium-quality semi-glossy / luster photo paper with a resin coating that makes it feel thicker, heavier, and more durable than mass-marketed photo papers. The coating helps eliminate glare and visibility of fingerprints, so the ink colors come through vividly with no interference from smudges or smears.
Prints use a giclee printing process on color-calibrated Canon printers using aqueous pigment inks that resist fading for 100+ years.
Our premium solid wood frames come with optical-grade clear acrylic glass. Our mats are made from 4-ply white matboards with an attractive bevel at 45 degrees. The back of the frame includes a kraft paper dust cover. Hanging hardware included.
Everything is made and assembled in the US. Framed prints come fully assembled and ready to display on your wall.

Returns
Each Westphoria piece is custom printed and framed to order. We do not accept returns. However, if your piece is damaged during the shipping process or arrives with any imperfections, please contact us within 2 weeks of receiving your order and include images of the damage and box your order arrived in.
Gallery Quality, Ready to Hang
Our images are printed using professional Canon printers with a Giclee process on premium archival smooth matte fine art paper. This paper is great for high-quality fine art reproductions, photo printing, and open-edition decor. The heavyweight acid-free matte paper (230 gsm, 9.5 mil) supports accurate color reproduction, as well as high-contrast, high-resolution output. It also features an instant-dry coating that resists fingerprints and smudging. We use solid wood frames with optical-grade clear acrylic. The matboard is a 4-ply white mat with an attractive bevel at 45 degrees. The backing is kraft paper dust cover with hanging hardware included.
