Featured Image: Close of Day

Close of Day was captured during a warm summer sunset in Carlsbad, California. South swell was pulsing in the water and the tide was higher than normal. Many surfers were out, as were fishermen on the beach and explorers on the cliffs. Water and light were bouncing everywhere. It was a perfect evening. You couldn't stop yourself from inhaling deeply and taking the moment in. Let it bring calm to your space.

The Why

Things of value take effort to obtain. Westphoria is honored to pursue and capture this imagery.

With Todd Willer's ocean photography as the foundation, Westphoria was created to connect humans with meaningful life experiences - through memory, marveling and inspiration. Our hope is that these images can intentionally transform spaces and gift deep breaths to busy souls.

A family endeavor, our purpose was born of countless trips to the beach, camping weekends and journeys in the van singing at the top of our lungs. Experiencing salt on our skin, sand in our hair (and house) and memories of rich times with each other in the shadow of beauty - it has changed us. We hope our images can bring you joy as well.

Seeing the images on the big screen, in a historic venue, with the crowd enjoying it - pure joy. - Todd W.

Sharing these images at the show with friends, families and strangers was a special ocean lovers community experience. - Pam W.

The image reminds him of the peace and joy that he feels when he’s at the beach. - Beth R.
